Inspired by Photographer John Running's photo of "Running Woman." A Navajo woman's resolve to stand on her birth grounds and birth rights. She survives in the face of government relocation, repression and the grimes of coal dust. She bravely stares back into hope, into the light. Another time, another place, she may have stared back from death camp. Instead, lives and breathes in spite of the constant ill winds of changes. Dusty.
